Nostalgia

Sound installation in Makabe's historic streetscape. Shoes placed throughout the exhibition space emit footstep sounds in response to movement on digital maps, as if a digitally-displaced person walks through the space. Installed at the former Makabe Post Office as part of the University of Tsukuba Graduate School exhibition "Hirou." Nov 26 – Dec 12, 2022.
