Auditory-centered Vocal Feedback System Using Solmization for Training Absolute Pitch without GUI

Most absolute pitch training systems rely on visual feedback, yet people with perfect pitch describe hearing music as words, not visual notes. We built an auditory-centered system that provides vocal feedback via solmization (do, re, mi) with no GUI. In an experiment with 10 participants, our vocal feedback improved absolute pitch accuracy by approximately 25% for six non-potential absolute pitch users, while conventional visual feedback showed no improvement.
